About UNIVERSITY OF LAW

Being one of the largest and longest established law schools, it is no surprise that University of Law has produced more promising law graduates than any other schools. Amazingly, University of Law has nine campuses scattered all around UK including Birmingham, Bristol, Chester, Guildford, Leeds, London (Bloomsbury and Moorgate), Manchester, Nottingham and an international campus in Hong Kong. As for the academic team, the tutors comprise of experienced professionals in their industries. They are known to strive for the best for their students. In addition, these tutors are actively involved in students’ learning both inside and outside of the classroom. Not just that, every student is assigned to a personal tutor that serves as their mentor so that they will have someone that they can always turn to. In 2018, programs offered by the education institution so far include Bachelor of Laws (LL.B), Bar Professional Training Course, Graduate Diploma in Law, Legal Practice Course, Master of Laws (LL.M) in Legal Practice, Master of Science (MSc) in Law, Governance, Risk and Compliance, and the Professional Skills Course. Nevertheless, University of Law consists of 2 departments; Law School and Business School. Plus, their top facilities provide a professional learning environment. The campuses are designed in a way to recreate the professional, modern environments of top firms. Mock courtrooms are also built to provide future barristers a realistic and actual environment experience.

U-LAW PROGRAMS

Study Law

With decades of efforts, The University of Law School have developed a refined syllabus that will fulfill law graduates’ legal education needs. From the undergraduate LLB all the way through to the barrister-level BPTC, the courses are carefully designed by the country’s top law academics, with the participation of top lawyers in the law sector. This ensures students will be more confident to apply the knowledge and real-world legal skills that has been learnt from established lawyers during their degree years. In terms of undergraduate learning, practical skills are implemented in the modules which can be academically challenging to the students as University of Law School believes that it will help them when they step into the real-world industry. As for postgraduate, the course offers comprehensive knowledge taught by lawyers with real commercial experience. Practical skills that are desired by employers are further emphasized.

Study Business

University of Law Business School comprises of undergraduates and postgraduate degrees that are set to equip students with theoretical as well as practical skills to combat with the challenges faced in the real-world industries.University of Law Business School’s priority serves to help students develop their knowledge of business specialisms so that they will have bright future ahead in their careers. It aims to give support to the younger generation, whether they wish to set up their own businesses or become entrepreneurs in the future. Classes are not just passive-learning as tutors will usually encourage students to participate in active discussions and join informative workshops. On top of that, the academic curriculum is dynamic, having to be constantly reviewed so that information learnt is up to date. Latest business case studies will also be analyzed to train students in the aspects of critical thinking to create future business leaders. During the degree years, students will start to build connections with businesses and employers in which networking opportunities are made larger. A few notable organizations include PwC, IBM and The London Insurance Market. Besides, The Business School Employability Service is offered to their students in which professionally qualified careers advisors will advise them on job applications, interview tips and practical skills development sessions.
